CANCER WARRIOR

When I was young, I lived fighting cancer.
When I was 13, I knew I was sick.
Cancer stopped me from being a dancer.
My chemotherapy made me go ick
It was scary at first but I was brave.
I spend many days in a Cancer ward
I prayed to the good Lord, my life to save
Without their support it would be so hard.
I met a close friend who had passed away
She told me to be strong, and keep fighting.
I still remembered her every darn day.
So I never backed down, never hiding
I thank my Family for their support.
Any signs of cancer, I should report.
