Best Friends Forever
Best friends forever,
That’s what we said.
Nothing whatsoever,
Is left unsaid.
Since the day that met
We both had accept,
That promises and secrets
Are always kept.
Near or far,
Wherever we are.
Our friendship will last,
Just like it did in the past.

SONS
My time with you is precious
With every beat of my veins.
You both grow so fast
Like weeds above the stone wall.
I wish you love, memories and opportunity
To be the men I know you will become.
My sons are what you are called by some.
My rock and roots are what you have done
To plant my love like an oak.
Hard and strong it will remain
That won’t bend with a typhoon.
Although through time I will get old and wither
My love for you will always get bigger.
It’s time to let you grow now
I hope the world will not smother you.
Just remember sons,
I love you both
Like no other.
Goodnight…
Love your mother.

MY HEART GOES TO GUAM
If I'd wander my way back to Guam
I'd sit and listen to those Island Palms
They'd say here begins America's day
I can see the lovely sunset at Tumon Bay
The ocean waves breaking over the reefs
There on the beach I think of my beliefs
Oh, beautiful Island of the Virgin Mary
Her footstep on the ocean I can carry
I honor the patriotic people living there
They'll always be a part of me as I share
I'll tell you of their struggle for freedom
In the Great War they'd find their wisdom
I felt the warm tropical air on my face
My view from a ridge of this mystic place
The rolling hills look so gentle and calm
Thinking is my way to go back to Guam.

HOME
It's where I was raised.
It's where the beautiful beaches are.
It's where the beautiful sunrises and sunsets are.
It's where the amazing sights are.
It's where the delicious foods are cooked.
It's where I met the amazing people in my life.
It's where I met the love of my life.
It's where I will always come back to.
It's where America's day begins.
It's where home is – GUAM.

Backseat Passenger
As we ride in this car called life,
we never know where we will start,
when the ride will end, or where it is headed.
She was seventeen, and I was still the wondering boy at six.
One time, she slammed my hand between the car and the door.
Bruised and angry, I walked into the backseat, awaiting departure.
Our car may not be in the best shape;
some people's cars are more improved because they're rich.
They could be lined with the nicest rims, a steady engine,
and the nicest color a six year old boy could ever ask for.
Then again, some cars are in horrible condition.
It may have no aircon, a missing wheel, and not enough money for a spare tire.
Love it or hate it, it is still your life.
However, our car is pretty decent, enough to get us around.
Average tires, average rims,
and a spectacular love for it.
We sit idly by as we watch God take the drivers seat.
He chooses when to start the car, when the ride will end,
or where He wants us to go.
The ride will always be fun.
Exchanging pennies for stories and thoughts will never grow old.
Tragedies, comedies, memories, and then some.
These are the moments which really make me enjoy these car rides.
We don't when when our time will come.
Maybe one day we will start swerving,
Sure we'll panic, but what else can we do?
There are no air bags, you will have my arms to embrace you.
There's no insurance, you have my words to say, "Everything is going to be alright."
Whenever God decides to finally end this car ride,
you will always have me to be your backseat passenger, big sister.
